This brown girl is a graduate student and long time make up and beauty product lover. She also loves indie rock, surrealist art, Dexter, her cat, and much much more. The beautiful brown girl in the header is Frieda Pinto, whom sadly, I do not look anything like.
This blog is largely dedicated to make up and beauty products that may be appropriate for darker skinned ladies. I also review and discuss make up and beauty products on a more general level, so please feel free to let me know if there’s something you’d like me to review. All recommendations for products and application techniques are personal, not professional, as I do not have formal training in make up artistry or cosmetology.

As a journalist I try to do offbeat features so I would like to get as many involved!
